If someone you know tells you a very important secret, that goes to show that you have trust in each other. It shows that you are comfortable around that person enough that you would tell that secret. I also think some secrets are meant to be kept. For example, if a child is about to pass away from sickness, but they don't know it, I think that would be an ok secret to keep.Secrets can definitely destroy you overtime because its hard to keep a secret especially if its about someone else so not telling can destroy you inside.I think we already do manage the things in our mind, the ones were not proud of,I can say I have many secrets of things i'm not proud of but and people Ive hurt but yet in my mind Im really not proud of it.So must secrets must be shared.

I believe that it’s alright for almost all secrets to be kept. Big secrets would be harder to keep depending on the severity of the secret but if you could keep pushing with no problem know the truth I don’t think there is really anything wrong with that. You definitely could manage a good amount of secrets and after awhile you could just forget about them but once a secret starts to make you question what they told you if you know something bad happens and it just eats at you over a period of time then that’s when I think you should tell someone what you where told.

Secrets are ok in certain situations. They are ok if you are not hurting or harming other people with those secrets if they are about somebody else. Secrets can destroy a person if they constantly thinking about a secret. Secrets can also do nothing to a person if they do not care about keeping secrets. Yes we can manage the things that we are not proud of in our own heads. We care about the truth because it means we are getting an honest answer, and the person is giving the correct information.

I don't think you should keep big secrets. They will destroy you mentally. You do have to be careful who you tell your secrets to. Make sure the people you tell are mature and trustworthy. If you tell your big secret(s) to the wrong people, it could ruin your relationships with them. I don't think little secrets are that big of a deal. I think self-management is completely based on the person. Some people can cope and deal with their problems within themselves but on the other hand, some people need therapists and counselors. I think it is important to tell the truth because there is a sense of satisfaction when you can trust someone. Also, in some cases it is illegal to not tell the truth.

Secrets will always be part of someone's life even if they aren't the ones keeping it so I think that somethings should be kept a secret and others not so much like bigger secrets because either way, the truth comes out one way or another. Smaller secrets I think are easier to keep because they won't do as much damage also if people do keep big or small secrets it just means that they don't think it's the right time to tell people which is understandable. Yes, secrets can destroy you because over time you might regret not saying anything. You can manage the bad things that you have done in your mind but at some point, you need to tell someone just to get that weight lifted off. Depending on how close you are with the person we care because we don't want to do anything to ruin the friendship or relationship also if you are the only person that knows the truth you start to overthink things.

Secrets do hurt some people when they are kept but I think people should be able to keep secrets because secrets do not always hurt people. If it is something you should tell the person that you are keeping it from then you should tell them, no matter big or small you should choose whether you keep a secret or not. Also we have free speech so we should have the freedom whether to speak or not as well. Depending what the secrets are and who is involved, yes I think secrets can destroy you over time. Yes but sometimes we need more than ourselves to manage. But not everyone needs someone to help them through the things they are not proud of. We care so much about the truth because honesty is a good and important trait in a person. You do not wanna be around someone who is not telling you the truth about things, you want someone who is honest and real with you.

I think everyone has their own secrets either because were afraid of the consequence or because we want to protect someone else and I think that secrets are bad, but at the same time their good. some secrets if you keep them for too long they can destroy you but some cant, because some are just personal. WE cannot manage the thought of the thing we are not proud of those stick with us until we feel like its time to let go. We care so much of telling each other the truth because its something that makes us feel better and we take a big weight off our shoulders.

I would say that keeping a secret is fine as long as you can be trusted to just shut up and don't say anything. I don't think secrets will destroy you over time, however I would say there are some exceptions to this like hiding a fatal disease etc.. People already privately manage everything inside our own mind, since that is pretty much what thinking is. I guess people just want to be around other people they can trust and put their faith in, something as simple as that.

yes and no, somethings are better left unsaid, but keeping a secret from someone could also end up hurting them later in the long run, but if you're like me, you can tell when people are lying & i always find out the truth anyways. secrets can destroy a lot of things, friendships, relationships, maybe yourself. most people who create secrets and share them don't have a guilty conscience so secrets don't affect them, other people who have a heart and feelings don't do that to others.. i don't think its hard to work through that stuff in your mind. being honest, as much as you can is just like a basic moral that decent people have. being honest is not hard. if you're doing something and you can't be honest about it, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

1.I don't think people should keep secrets, there should be someone that you could at least talk to about things. Especially how we see it in the book, all the guilt that Amir had, he just needed to talk to someone, someone to be there for him. 2.I think secrets do begin to destroy you overtime especially when it's something big. 3. Yes but at times we just need ourselves to manage. 4. We care so much about the truth because we care about honesty and people who can be real with you, and just tell you whats really going on.

people should be able to keep some secrets depending on how small or big they are and how important people should have their privacy but should also be able to tell pepople that need to hear them. secrets do destroy you ove time i feel like if you atleast tell someone you really trust i would feel good to get it out and talk about it. we usually cant manage things we are not proud of it haunts us every time. you need to be honest with people in our lives.

Secrets are dangerous for anyone involved. Keeping a big secret is bad because it could harm others as well as small secrets. If you keep too many secrets you tend to forget the truth. That can make keeping relationships with others and destroy your life. If you are not proud of something that you did that harmed yourself you don't have to tell anybody, but if you did something that would harm another you should be responsible and confess to that. Telling the truth keeps us happy. If you can be honest about the things you do, friendships will thrive and overall will make you a happier individual.

I believe secretes are meant to be kept, no matter the weight the secrete holds. Secretes however, are different from lying. It you have to hold a secret, it usually means it holds some type of importance and that is valuable to you. However if the secrete is being kept because you're lying or feel guilty, that secret will just haunt you alive for the rest of your life. I believe we can push away the sin we have, but eventually something will remind you of that guilt and make it all come back. I believe we worry so much about telling others the truth because we don't want to be judged for our heinous actions.

I think that all secrets can be bad. Even if it’s the smallest thing, because if the person you’re keeping it from finds out on their own than it’s worse than you just telling them. Keeping and having secrets is no good for yourself or the other person. Keeping honest is always the best option because it avoids bigger problems that may appear if you didn’t tell them the “secret”.

Secrets can help us trust people because if they reveal your secret, you cannot trust them. No one wants to reveal EVERYTHING about themselves, and that’s why secrets are kept. Little and big ones make up who we are and what we’ve done. Keeping in a secret with damaging information could make you deteriorate over time. But that doesn’t mean you should reveal it. I can reflect on what I need to, but it’s important to me to have someone I can tell things to when I don’t see what I need to see. Telling someone the whole truth is more important than telling the truth in the first place. That small detail left out could be something that person finds out later, leading them to not trust you anymore. Even if you told them the truth, it was not the whole truth.
