I do not think there are any laws regarding dating in the U.S but there are certain standards to how people date. Some of those standards are starting to understand a person and liking each other. I think the way dating in Afganistan is its too strict, because you have to know the person really well to be in a relationship with one another.

Unlike Afghanistan, the U.S. does not have strict cultural dating rules. Although no strict rules exist in the U.S., each individual person has a different idea of what they want from a relationship. I believe that the cultural standards that Afghanistan are way too strict and cause more problems than they fix.

There are no governmental or specific rules for dating in America but, there are rules between the two people dating and possibly even their parents. "Rules" of dating include when/if you are going to have sex, trust/loyalty, truthfulness, parents, etc. But mostly the only rule of dating you may face are when your parents allow you. I don't believe we are too loose because dating is about getting to know someone and fully and completely trusting them. If you can't see or talk to the person you are dating then what is the point of even dating. The definition of date is to go out with someone romantically or sexually. If you do not know anything about a person whether it be personality or visual looks how can you know you can connect, live with a person. Overall the Afghani culture is way too strict with their ways of "dating" and America is a good compromise because it is mostly up to the culture, lifestyle and parents of the people dating.
