In American I don't really think there is any rule for dating, people in America usually just talks to each other and starts dating except some people parents are strict about dating. I believe their rule are way to strict because you should be able to date and marry whoever you want and not get chosen for you. And because you can't chose whom to marry there might struggle in the future living together.

I don't believe that their should be rules for dating because only the person who is interested in someone should be aloud to do what they think is romantic or in a sense is how to get the other person attracted to them so, dating should be a natural thing not forced or tradtionalized.

to be honest there aren't really any rules but to dating in the united states unless your parents do or do not accept it. but i think Sorayas family wont accept it because he was in the us and shes from Afghanistan. so her culture is to date and marry someone from her race. but a lot of people got raised different and told who and who not to love

In the united estates there is no rules for marriage only that you should not marry under the age of 18.you get to choose the person you want to marry and freely have a personal connection with them. Meanwhile in Afghanistan there is rules for dating but they are too strict, you can't see or talk the woman as she covers her face or you cant either share your thoughts. The marriage is usually always set up and the females can't revel their faces to any other men except the guy they marry and that is after marriage.

The rules of dating are different for each person and just depends on what they want in a relationship. Although i do also think there can be no rules in dating. I believe that in afganistan it is too strict due to arraged marriages. These partner dont know eachother before theyre married. the us might be really loose as well.

I think that the rules for dating in america change from what the parents wants. but i would mostly say that middle school is about the time kids start dating and their parents let them date. i think it is a little too loose and should be a little more strict. and i think that their ways of dating and too strict and loosen them up a little bit

In the U.S. the rules for dating are primarily based on your own values and morals, as well as your families beliefs. Things are fairly lenient when it comes to who we pair ourselves with and more times than not, we don't seek any approval for those who date. Compared to Afghani culture, we are everything that they are against. I think that their beliefs on this matter are way too harsh, but it's what they feel is normal to them; however I think there should be a little more flexibility when it comes to significant others.

The rules for dating here in america are kind of different depending on the person. You can either date somebody exclusively or openly date people, if you and another person are only dating each other the rules might be don´t cheat, simple as that. I think their way too strict and that ours is fine because when you are dating someone you should be able to get to know them and have fun with them and make memories, but in Afghanistan it is very strict, for example, parent presence. In america you date whoever you want but in Afghanistan, your parents can pick and choose who they want you to be with.

The rules of dating in America really come from people's parents at what age they are comfortable with their child dating and weather or not the child is allowed to be alone with their partner, things like that. Most of us Americans start actually dating in high school I would say. As far as the cultural differences between men and women in America verses Afghanistan, no matter if you are dating or not, we are allowed to look at each other and have conversations. Therefore creating a familiarity with someone and getting to know them. I think it is very important to know a person very well before you get married and such. I would say that the Afghans are much too strict when it comes to dating. Compared to us they are backwards and im sure that leads to a lot of unhappy and complicated marriages.

There are no set "rules" for dating in the United States, but there are cultural norms. Usually people talk to each other and see each other a lot before dating, and those who go through multiple relationships quickly are looked down upon. Our way is not too loose, but the Afghani seems strict because people do not get to know each other much before marriage and it seems to be completely run by the men. Of coarse, their way does not seem strict to them because that is the culture they grew up in.

There necessarily aren't any rules into dating, each person has standards about how to maintain their relationship and how they keep it together, Its different so everyone. Our ways in america are way to loose most people now a days care more about sex than in actual interaction with one another, but i think the Afghani way may be a little to strict because i feel if they're going to be living with each other for the rest of their lives they should at least have some interaction with one another to get to know them and feel comfortable with each other.

In America a relationship to many citizens is seen as finding a way to know an individual to a higher extent. Spending time together such as going on dates and talking over the phone usually just building a bond. In Afghanistan culture revolves around a marriage. A man is to keep his distance from a woman unless he has her fathers blessing to be worthy of taking his daughter. Marriage is the first step of the relationship if the wish is granted and a bond is often built in time.

In the U.S. the "rules" are very subjective. While I would say that the rules for dating in U.S are more of standards like, being honest, and no cheating. Also different relationships develop different rules based off each others lives. The rules in Afghani are way different than the rules here in the U.S. and a lot stricter. The young people of Afghani don't get to choose their spouse and don't have a say in it either, which is crazy to me because they will have to spend the rest of their lives with this person.

The rules for dating in the US are very lenient compared to Afghani culture. Here in the US there are very few rules and couples are just expected to stay loyal to each other and be honest. I believe that in Afghani culture the rules for dating are too strict. Men and women who are not married cannot talk to each other, also their marriage partners are chosen by their parents. I think that people from this culture should live their own lives and choose who they want to be with and not be forced into a marriage that they disagree with.
