For the final assessment of the year, we are going to be looking at, reviewing, and analyzing music. Here in the next week you will be sumbitting an original music review that looks at a song or an album of your choosing. You will be expected to review the song's lyrics, message, and overall stylistic effects. To get the process rolling, please respond to the following questions below:
*What are some of your favorite songs and/or albums? Specifically, why are these your favorite songs? What is it about them -- their lyrics? The beat? The melody? The message? Explain. *What are some of your LEAST favorite songs and/or albums? Specifically, what is it about these songs that make you cringe? The lyrics? The tone? The singer's/band's vocals? Explain.
Responses need to be submitted to the forum/thread by next class, Thursday, 05/07/20.

One of my My favorite albums is by BTS and it’s called “Love Yourself”. My favorite song is “Stigma” also by Bts but this song is in a different album. I like this song because I like the tempo and how it sounds. I also really connect and love the lyrics of the song. Another song that I really like is “Awake”, I really like this song because of the message it gives and the way it sounds is really nice. Another one of my favorite albums is “Wings” also by Bts. I don’t necessarily not like any songs but I would prefer not to listen to some American rap artists (not saying all of them) there are a few that just focus on putting other Artists in the song, and I don’t really find that to be a good focus for a song, especially if it’s just random.

Favorite songs: Fade Away, Counted Steps, Sour Patch Kids Favorite Albums: True 2 Myself, Hoodie SZN
I personally like these songs because not only can you chill and relax to them but they also have and underdog or overcoming meaning to them.
Least Favorite: One Dance, Any song with Blueface
Personally I don't like One dance because it was over played and just over hearing it made the song so annoying, and I hate listening to songs with Blueface because he's always off beat

One of my favorite albums has to be astroworld by Travis Scott, the album brings me so much joy and happiness because it takes me back to a time when everything in my life seems to just go right. It takes me back to the good old days, or as good as days could get for a 17 year old. Apart from albums I have a couple favorite songs by Frank Ocean like Lost, Ivy, and Cayendo. I personally just really like these songs and somewhat relate to the lyrics in a way. The things he talks about really get to me and it helps me relate my own life into his music. I’ve always loved music anyways and I feel like my taste goes far beyond just two or three artists I even listen to some Mexican trap music. My favorite is Herencia de Patrones and their music just helps me relate back to my culture and what I love so much about it.

My favorite songs mostly come from Kendrick Lamar and J.cole.My favorite Kendrick Lamar album is "Good kid m.a.a.d city."From j.cole my favorite album is "4 your eyez only","2014 forest hills drive", and "Kod".I like these artists and albums because their both strong lyrically and their beats and nice.Their message is how kids living in bad neighborhoods and hard life can have faith and be something one day and they make you realize how our economy is changing badly. My least favorite song is most songs played on the radio just because their mainly overplayed and it gets annoying.

Favorites: All Eyez On Me, Anything w Tupac, Thug Luv, Stop Staring At The Shadows, Blue Laces 2, Hoodie Szn, FIVE FIVE, ect. These are some of the best albums and songs because you can vibe to them, some of them have a message or a story you can follow and of course because they all sound good. Hearing most of these songs would make you move your head or body to it. (If you like those genres.) Least Favorites: Anything with Justin Beiber, BTS , Taylor Swift, ect. These are some of the worsts because they have bad voices and songs. I do not really like anything with high pitch voices and girly songs. A lot of these artists music is just annoying.

I listen to classic rock like the Beatles and the rolling stones, or AC/DC. However I really listen to anything as long as it has a good beat.

I’ve always liked the songs in the album ghost face killers by various different artists and producers. Somthing about the sound, lyrics, their confidence and motivation to have a better life is what I like about that album. I listen to it when I’m in my room or at the gym and it motivates me to do more and improve myself. Songs I don’t like very much are the ones my dad listens to on his 70s station. They tell stories about anything, I don’t like how they sound and they don’t make me feel anyway like the songs I listen to

I like to listen to R &' B music, because of the beat, lyrics and message they send out. I also enjoy country music because of the beat as well and lyrics, and then I also really like Banda music. I really like the artist The Weeknd so his new album is my favorite album right now, but I like a bunch of R &' B artist. I guess some music I would dislike would be stuff like jazz music.
