During my reading of chapter 7, I felt more and more terrible for both of the boys in different ways. The events that occurred made me look at Amir in a more negative way. Before I always saw him as a normal kid and a good friend, but after seeing what he did to Hassan, I don't think I could forgive him as a character. The way he responded to Hassan's situation was awful but also understandable given the situation he was in himself. This chapter did a really good job on setting the tone for what is to come in the future. Regarding the book banning, I don't think any book should be off limits in a high school classroom. The Kite Runner sines an important light on tough issues that need to be discussed to prepare Teenagers for the adult world.

This made me feel sad for these kids since no one should ever witness this or go through this. I do kinda see it differently since he's now more afraid after this event. I do not believe the kite runner should be remove due to the reasons that horrible things happen and if they remove this book the kids are going to live in a world of bubbles that nothing bad happens when it actually does not to everyone but it does happen.

These events make me kind of mad and upset for Hassan because no one should ever gave to go through anything like that. I don't think any different than them because there is completely no one to blame for for what happened. I don't think the book should be banned because things like this happen more frequent than others. As a hogh schooler reading this book we all deal with situations that we cannot all handle. If we ban this book than we will be missing on a good lesson of life.
